The Safeguarding and Risk Management Hub (The Hub) is a freely accessible online resource providing guidance, support, advice and access to training resources in relation to safeguarding and risk management for organisations and individuals working with young people. The Hub aims to promote good safeguarding and risk management practices across the youth sector.

The College has a range of measurement tools designed to understand and measure young people’s gains in socio-emotional skills, the quality of provision to support socio-emotional skills, and the level of young people’s engagement in this provision. All of our tools can be found for free here on this website.

Youth Focus South East known as a Regional Youth Work Unit (RYWU) act as hubs for developing and supporting youth work in their regions, working with commissioners, providers and young people themselves to ensure the sector is well-informed, skilled and responsive to changes in government policies and young people’s needs. They are a core element of infrastructure support for the youth sector in their regions.

Their mission is to prevent children and young people from becoming involved in violence finding out what works and building a movement to put this knowledge into practice. The Toolkit summarises the best available research evidence about different approaches to preventing serious youth violence. It is based on real-life data about what has happened when these approaches have been used before.

Young Medway’s membership is open to organisations that engage with children and young people locally aged 0 - 25, including businesses, the voluntary sector and schools.
Young Medway AGM

Where: McLeods, Mid Kent College, Gillingham
This November Young Medway will be celebrating its first birthday and holding its AGM. Please join us to find out more about the organisation and have your say in its future development.
As well as the AGM we will running a networking event discussing training, access to funding, marketing and safeguarding. This will be an excellent opportunity to meet other youth organisations and learn from their experience.
We will be joined by speakers who will be talking about their experiences of developing similar organisations in London and there will be opportunities for networking and light refreshments.
